Natural ways to boost immunity in times of Corona

Eating an immune-system-friendly diet goes a long way to protect yourself from infection and illness. As  cases of corona virus continues to rise, taking  daily precautions such as washing your hands, social distancing, exercising  and getting enough sleep is key to lowering risk of infection.

But maintaining a healthy diet to help boost your immune system may also give you an edge. A strong immune system plays a crucial role to combat infections caused by viruses and bacteria. Eat low carb diets, as this will help control high blood sugar and pressure.  A low carb diet will help slow down diabetes and focus on a protein-rich diet to keep you in good shape. And regularly consume vegetables and fruits rich in Beta carotene, Ascorbic acid & other essential vitamins. Certain foods like mushrooms, tomato, bell pepper and green vegetables like broccoli, spinach are also good options to build resilience in the body against infection.
